What have chakras got to do with relationships?
Okay, please bear with me.
No, I’ve not gone “woo woo” but what I have got, is a technique that really works, is super simple to use, and very effective when it comes to removing blocks in relationships, it won't cost you a dime, and you don’t even need to see a therapist. This is the least emotionally draining way for you to work on your self development...
How good is that!
One concept to know and understand is that we are made up of energy; everything is energy. Dr. Joe Dispenza describes the chakras as “energy centers” to avoid people’s preconceived ideas of chakras preventing them from using the technique. You may prefer to call them energy centers but for this post, I will call them chakras.
So...in a "nutshell," all you need to do is focus on the area of your chakras, and your chakras and relationships will change. You will experience fewer relationship problems and yes, your sexual energy will increase!
Spend time focusing on your individual chakras. Where attention goes (you focusing on your chakras), energy flows (you are moving your energy, which removes your blocks). You are chakra cleansing! If you do the exercises with your partner, you will connect on a different level where you can experience unconditional love. You could dub yourselves the, "Chakra Couple."
All that stuff/baggage you have accumulated throughout your lifetime, beliefs passed on to you from your parents, teachers, etc., traumas, etc., are buried and accumulate over time and cause blocks in your chakras. You're doing, chakra healing!
When you're working on your chakras, you don't even have to think about the traumatic events you've experienced to remove these wounds and blocks—impressive and powerful work is going on in your body just by focusing on the different chakras for a couple of minutes each; there no reason (or need) to relive the trauma!
No doubt you've heard of the Law of Attraction?
When you're working with the Law of Attraction, you're attracting into your life what you are "energetically" aligned with. If your energy is "off" or out of balance, you attract things and people into your life that are also "off" or out of balance.
So the opposite is also true; happy and balanced energy attracts happy and stable people!
At the School of the Modern Mystic (SoMM), Belinda Davidson says that for people to have more joy, happiness, balance, meaningful relationships, and purpose in their life, all they need to do is change their energy. Chakras and relationships go "hand-in-hand."
When working on your energy system, focusing on each of your seven chakras for 2-3 minutes a day, and practicing mindfulness, you will change your life and relationships.
"If you do not want to change your life and you are fearful of losing people and things in your life, working on your chakras is "not" for you!"
Since working on my chakras, my life has completely turned around, and I feel a different person. The changes I initially experienced were slow, but it didn't take long for things to change very quickly.
Thankfully, by this time, I started to feel stronger, more connected, and more in control of my feelings; I found that my fears and anxieties were falling away as I progressed on my inward energy-changing journey.
Today, I have so much clarity about who I am and what I want in my life; it is incredible. I have a profound sense of peace and confidence in myself, and this is being mirrored back to me in my relationships.
Do you know those harmful and destructive relationships that just drain your energy? Well, those people have disappeared from my life (Yeah)!
I'm working on authenticity—it has many layers and you can only be as truthful to yourself and others when you know and discover more about yourself. I'm going to say, authenticity is a work in progress and probably always will be.
I wish I had known about working with chakras and energy years ago! Change your energy, change your relationships—it does work.
Everyone is different, and you may have other results and experiences. I would not change my growth for anything, and I am enjoying this journey more and more every day.
To see how working with your chakras improves your relationship with yourself and others, and how it attracts loving and supportive people into your life, please read below.
Each chakra is an energy center, and if your chakras are off-balance, under or overactive, they will affect your life and relationships. Chakras and relationships are therefore connected.
Belinda says that if one chakra is imbalanced, it will affect your other chakras. You can't work on one chakra and ignore the others; they all need love and attention.
Each Chakra, when healthy and balanced, will support you and your relationships in different ways.
Working with your chakras improves your relationship with yourself and attracts loving and supportive people into your life.
Need for survival - the root chakra: Helps you to feel secure, loved, loyal to family, sense of connection with family, able to trust, able to set boundaries, and have everything you need to survive.
When Chakra 1 is out of balance, you may feel unsafe, insecure, do not have a sense of connection or belonging, unable to trust yourself or others, and set healthy boundaries. You may also not find, or prioritize, time for a relationship and may experience low libido.
Pleasure seeker - the sacral chakra: Is responsible for your drive and desire to find love, intimacy, and passion in a relationship. When this chakra is out of balance, you may seek material pleasures to fill a "void" in your life or look for a partner who makes you feel good about yourself or who will 'look good' next to you.
Your libido could be very low (frigid) or too high. You may not be trusting of others, be emotionally sensitive and have an obsessive (unhealthy) attachment.
Power driver - the solar plexus chakra: If unbalanced, may support you to be a victim and attract controlling or bullying partners; it affects your abilities, self-confidence, and self-esteem. You can become co-dependent (put others' needs before yourself) and attract people who have narcissistic traits.
Do you become enmeshed in others' problems, or attract people who drain your energy? You may be resentful being in a relationship with someone who's controlling and find it difficult to communicate this and become passive-aggressive.
Searching for love - the heart center: When this chakra is balanced, you're able to love yourself, give love to others and receive love. If you're demanding, jealous, have poor boundaries in a relationship with co-dependency traits (focus on others' and not your self), your heart chakra may be over-energized.
If you shut off and withdraw, fear intimacy in a relationship and can be judgmental of your partner, your heart chakra may be under-active.
When your heart chakra is open and balanced, this is where and when the Law of Attraction starts to work for you.
Expressing your truth - this chakra is responsible for communication and expressing yourself authentically, openly and honestly.
Problems happen in your relationships when you have a blocked, or unbalanced, throat chakra and you are unable to communicate with your partner in an open, honest and loving way. If it's under-active, you fear to speak your truth.
Overactive, and you've engaged your mouth before your brain and said too much. You may experience many misunderstandings and frustrations in your relationships.
Going beyond ego - the eye chakra, also known as the brow chakra: This chakra, if unbalanced, can make you feel inadequate in a relationship. The ego can override the relationship and sabotage. You may find it difficult to have a vision and create/see a future for your relationship; you're closed-minded and not open to possibilities with your partner.
You may not be able to reflect on your mistakes, and you keep repeating the same behavior over and over again.
Do you ever feel that you go from one relationship to the next, the person may look different, but the issues are the same?
Spiritual awakening - this chakra is responsible for feeling connected and knowing that we are all interconnected and are one. When the crown chakra is closed, we struggle to feel connected to family members and loved ones, including partners.
When the crown chakra is open and balanced, you will not need others approval, love, or acceptance, to make you feel happy. You will feel whole, balanced, connected and complete. You have access to the energy from the higher centers.
When this chakra is balanced, you will be a real energy magnet and others will feel drawn to you because you are truly connected!
The more often you focus on your chakras, the quicker you see and feel results. If possible, try to work on your chakras every day for at least 30 minutes.
Wow, it's a small price to pay for such a significant impact!
Get your chakras and relationships rocking!
